Every year countless books end up in Australian landfill, and each year the problem continues to grow. This equates to hundreds of tonnes per annum that are needlessly filling landfills all across Australia. One of Give A Textbook’s goals is to promote sustainability and environmental awareness through positive change within communities in Australia and the Philippines. We take unwanted books and give them a new lease of life. The information and knowledge in books are spread further and promote education and growth of future generations.
